This is an overview of all main functions in the IntOp Fetch user interface. Familiarize yourself with the interface to use the tool more efficiently. See the video below for a quick demo of the most important functions.
Overview of functions
- Filter Collection
A set of filters is a Filter Collection. Selecting different Filter Collections from the menu will change the types of filters that appear in the left-hand menu bar and the displayed columns.
Filters are used to categorize data. Click and choose one or more filters. Combining filters enables drill-down, reducing the number of files.
- Fancy Search
Using Fancy Search, you will get suggestions of Filters that contain the word you are searching for, or choose to search for free text using advanced search functions.
- Date Filter
With the date filter, you can set a range of time for when the files in the list have been the last edited.
- Cogwheel Menu
When you click on the cogwheel, a menu appears with choices for saving a Filter Selection, show or hide Content Excerpt, how Welcome Screen, enter System Administration (if you have access).
- Clickable Filename
The Filename is clickable and will open the file from the source directly.
- File Path
Displays the path where the file is stored. This gives valuable information about the file.
- Text Preview
The magnifying glass will open a window, showing the non-formatted text of the file and which Contexts the file has relationships to.
